THESE ATHLETES ARE THE MOST POPULAR IN THE GAME
In today’s day in age we all know the best athletes in every sport. In basketball it’s very obvious it is Lebron James. In hockey there has become a little debate between Sidney Crosby and the young beast Connor Mcdavid. In soccer there has been a debate since they both became world stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. In football it is a very debatable because there are so many positions. Many of you have certainly already heard of these superstars names. But a huge question is “do you people know who are the top three athletes with the most followers on Twitter?” Everyone may assume it is Lebron James, Michael Jordan, Sidney Crosby or Alexander Ovechkin the four biggest names in sports. But I’m certain that nobody knows who the top three most popular athletes are. Well let me give you the answer to those.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a professional soccer player who plays for an Italian team in “La Seria A” called Juventus. His previous team Real Madrid recently traded him to Juventus. Cristiano is currently the worlds most popular athlete according to Twitter by having 75 558 231 followers which is the most among all athletes on the planet. Sponsoring young kids with soccer shoes for them and also caring for all of his fans.

Lebron James is a professional basketball that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was a free agent this offseason and decided to take his exceptional talent to Los Angeles. At the moment, Lebron James and Michael Jordan has been the biggest debated in NBA history. Lebron has currently 41 878 736 followers on Twitter which is 2nd among athletes on the planet. Lebron James opened up his own school in Akron, Ohio called the “I Promise School”

Neymar Jr is a professional soccer player who plays for a French team called Paris Saint Germain. Neymar Jr is a big surprise to be the 3rd most popular athlete in the world with 41 402 989 followers on Twitter. Neymar is currently the most paid soccer athlete in the history of FIFA with a contract of 222 million dollars over 5 years. That right there is outstanding money and catches my eyes right away when I read about this superstar athlete. Neymar Jr in the summer has created a soccer camp for all of these young talented soccer players in Brazil where this superstar was born.
In conclusion these three athletes I just spoke about and gave a brief description on are the three most followed athletes on Twitter. It is crazy how much a sport can do for you around the world. These people were nobody’s until they introduced themselves to the world by playing the sport they love and are the best at. Each one of those three superstars have broken records and made history, obviously they didn’t just break records by luck or by accident. They did something really sensational to be written in history books. These three athletes have done exceptional things on and off the court. They are the three most hyped athletes in our era of sports.
