We use this picture to present the conflict happening in the story of Hockey Sweater. The mom wanted to buy a hockey shirt to her son, but she made a mistake, she bought the maple leafs t-shirt. Thus, her son was very angry. He didn’t want to wear it on the Hockey game. The boy gets mad at his mother for not buying the right thing. In this meme, Batman represents the mother and Robin is the son. The mother forced her son to wear the shirt she bought even if her son refused, so she slaps him to tell him to do whatever she says. This meme exaggerates the rudeness of the mother face to his son’s opinion

This image shows a man sitting on a convertible, in a very stressful situation and he is hesitating between two buttons. He is sweating because he does not know which one he should press to safe himself. The man can represent the daughter in the story Girl. The daughter is confused about what her mother is telling her to do. In fact, in the story, the mom was contracting herself of telling her daughter to be a good girl, but at the same time, she is teaching her daughter how to make herself desirable so that she can have a better life. As the result, the girl does not know if she has to be desirable or be a good girl and is stressed. She does not know which one would give her a brighter future.
